Been born in Brazil and playing in so many different bands in the USA gave me an understanding of how close the rithms from the two contries are: Blues and Baiao, Samba and Funk. My goal with music is to play brazilian music with it's roots but in a way that can be enjoyed in other cultures. It's the translation of the rithym and feeling of the brazilin music that I want to acomplish.

So this CD is about playing brazilian music to be heard by an non- brazilian listener.
