In January of 2006, the band released it’s third independently produced album thoughts of june. Unlike the previous releases, this 9-song album was recorded entirely in the band’s home basement studio with the help of Pro Tools digital recording equipment and a couple of local Portland engineers. Without the rush and pressure of being on the clock in the studio, the band was able to capture its most cohesive and creative collection of music to date. According to the Portland Tribune, the new album displays “solid songwriting and musicianship working in harmony … with hints of REM and Wilco.”
