Songs written by Jessy Tomsko. Produced and engineered by Greg Fisher. Work for this album began in December 2008 at Evolving Sound Studios (Philadelphia, PA). You will hear Jessy on vocals, acoustic guitar, glockenspiel, piano, and auxiliary percussion. Greg performed on bass, electric guitars, acoustic guitars, wurlitzer, piano, organ, glockenspiel, programming, and even some backing vocals on a few tunes. Other featured performers are Jim Cavanaugh (drums, cajon, congas) and Carter Fox (upright bass on "Something, Anything"). As the recording process progressed, it became clear which songs needed to be on the album, and which ones just didn't seem to fit. They started with 22 songs, and Jessy eventually settled on the 10 that worked best. She feels very strongly that each of the songs on this record have a common thread running through them, connecting them to each other, and connecting them to the overall theme: The Light You Make. From full band sounds to intimate acoustic, from groovy to heart-warming, this album is sure to become a favorite in your library.
