Aaron Kaufman's songwriting and performances, while intimate in nature, have garnered national attention, one of the winners of the 2008 BMI John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship as well as wining the NPR Whad'Ya Idol Competition (like American Idol but for public radio...sort of).

Aaron has been actively involved with the Arts in Medicine program at the Texas Children's Hospital in Houston as both a guest artist and as an intern. He was lead to Houston by the Purple Songs Can Fly project, an organization that pairs professional songwriters with children undergoing cancer treatment. Under the guidance of the songwriter, the patients write their own songs and record them in the clinic's recording studio.

Aaron grew up in CT and just graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, MN. He likes peanut butter, LOST, Garamond font, writing songs about boats, and green tea.

I would like to personally invite you to attend this year's IMMMS.
Have you ever asked yourself:

All of those questions and more will be addressed at this year's event. You don't want to miss this opportunity.
You can find out more information at - www.industrymeltdown.com
This weekend only - we are offering discounted ticket prices for the Holiday's
