The Might Asterix is a legend of the New Zealand reggae scene.
The first Reggae type toaster=mc in the south pacific.
His MC'ing and vocal skills have seen him gain a first-class reputation both in New Zealand and internationally. Asterix began MC'ing in the early 80s He has worked closely with NZ`s Che Fu, Fat Freddys drop, Blackseeds, Stinky and DLT, in 1997 he and DLT released the first ever Jungle tune in the south pacific, called return of the lion king on the True school of hip hop album.
Also from 2006 he has been the lead singer for SALMONELLA DUB NZ`S most popular Reggae dub dance band.
