Radioactive X Girlfriend (RxGF) is an experimental Electro Folk Rock band from the United States. The band is centred around songwriter/performer/producer John Morgan Reilly who has collaborated with and featured many musicians including New Zealand born British singer-songwriter Daniel Bedingfield, Josh Greenberg (The Ruby Doe), Dave Brozowski (Catheters, Tall Birds), Dave Rosser (Twilight Singers, Mark Lanegan), Jol'e Williams (So A.D.D.), and producer Jonathan Plum (Blind Melon, Candlebox, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden). The diversity of musical talent sculpts their dynamic sound which tends to vary in genre between each release. 2012's "All Blade No Handle" is a classic sampler of their wide range of musical ability. The band's unique sound blends acoustic and electronic in a way that allows the music to cross genres-- from Shoegaze to Neo Folk, from closed-fisted alt rock to ambient psychedelic soundtrack.

RxGF's 2011 debut release, The Art Of Splitting, is a 14 song jaunt to an alt rock solar system with several inhabitable planets and blood-red moons while 2012's All Blade No Handle ventures deep into un-charted orchestral space with an abundance of electronic head candy and ultra-chill soundscapes. Both records have debuted on JMR's label, Orange Allies Records.
