Raffi Manoukian, age 42, is a singer/songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in Canada, he started writing pop songs on the piano from the very early age of 10. Having played in numerous bands throughout his college years in Montreal, he has adapted his stage name as "Manoukian" and continues to perform live at local venues in Southern California. Recently singing and playing keyboards in the band " Mini-Van Captain" , Manoukian performed mostly original songs to a full-house in Los Angeles, at the Blue Palms Brewhouse on Hollywood Blvd. His main influences and favorite artists over the years have been Brian Adams, Sting, Stevie Wonder, Sade, DuranDuran, Jamiroquai, Robert Palmer, Harry Connick Jr, Sheryl Crow, Angelique Kidjo and U2.
