Michelle has been singing since the womb, writing her own lyrics and melodies all the while. At age 11 she began formal classical training and went on to study opera at university. Leaving opera behind to persue a career more condusive to her creative urges, in 1999 Michelle became the voice of Mercury Sound Cartel ("Etheral Soul Innovators"). Mercury's music has recently been featured on the hit Showtime series "The L Word".
For the past year Michelle has been focusing on developing her solo career. She teamed up with producer Alan Wong-Moon (alanwongmoon.com) recorded and independently released her debut album know as "Glass", an emotional diary of passion, pain & purity. Her song "Glass" was recently used as the theme song in the short film "Losing Eggs", currently in international film festival rotation. "Glass" and "Lies" were also featured in the Showcase pilot "Stacy & Mary" (2005 Best Short Comedy, Houston Film Festival). She performs regularly with plans to tour the globe!
