"Sam Jones and the Cross Town All Stars" a band that finds its sound amongst the rock legends of the 60's and 70's. Sam started his musical career at 20 as a rock and roll guitarist. He played lead and rhythm guitar for two LA bands, "Product" and "The Buzzz," whom he still plays for today. During his time with these bands Sam began writing songs of his own. After four years of playing different clubs in L.A., Sam decided that he wanted to sing and perform the songs he had written, so he started playing gigs as a solo acoustic act. In 2006 Sam released a solo album entitled Debut. The CD has 15 original songs all written and recorded by Sam. In 2008 Sam formed his own band "Sam Jones and the Cross Town All Stars" and released a self-titled CD with 10 new original songs. Right now "The Cross Town All Stars" finished recording an all acoustic album utilizing congos, an upright bass, a piano, and a mandolin to accompany his acoustic guitar.
