FORTY EIGHT ROOMS (48R) is a 4-member band playing a ruthlessly original blend of punk, metal, and hard rock. 48R has an intensely amazing, adrenaline pumping stage show that leaves people in awe. The band has a wide variety of musical influences that include but is not limited to: The Misfits, Faith No More, Danzig, Iggy Pop, and Black Flag. With these influences the band has put together a sound similar to that of Black Sabbath meeting Black Flag. I like to describe it as neoclassical, progressive, aggressive, melodic rock. In other words, Punk Rock meets Metal in an alley creating 48R.

In April of 2000, Dhaval Trivedi called Jason and told him had been working on songs with his then roommate, a bass player named Kenny "Wylie" Noyes .
This new incarnation of the band decided on the name "Forty Eight Rooms", after driving by a half way house / rehab center in Wakefield, MA by the same name.
We entered a local studio to record our first demo CD. The 5 song disk would be a huge asset to the band's success, as it opened many doors in booking and provided us with the exposure of radio airplay. With a CD to our credit and a song on local radio programs like Rock 101's "The Big Gig" and 107.3 WAAF's "Bay State Rock", we began to look into booking some of New England's best rock venues.
An old fan and friend of ours, Brendan Connors had shown interest as filling either the drummer or bassist vacancy, having a great deal of talent with both instruments. As it happened, he became our bassist, and I was introduced to Shawn,
The line up set, and the music solid, 48 Rooms hits the New England area regularly.
