Hello. This is Fred Kimmel. I'm a composer/multi-instrumentalist, programmer, engineer, producer/artist . I sing a bit, too. My material is rather eclectic Pop ranging from Electronica to Rock. If you listen through my playlist, you'll notice the first 11 songs are mostly pop songs with lyrics. After that it goes into sound design territory and more electronica based material. I hope you enjoy the ride.

Hi Fred,

Many thanks for your kind review of Empire. I put it together for a "patriotic" opportunity so if it conjured up a music reminder of DC I'm pleased.

Much appreciated.

Hey Fred,

How are you buddy? Hope all is well with you and that the Bird of Paradise is roosting on your rooftop daily.

Also, thanks so much for the high-high marks and fine review of my song, "I Know Who You Are". Much appreciated.

Funny story about that song. I wrote it back in 1976 and it was one of about 400 songs I had not recorded back then. Then a couple years back, a friend of mine reminded me of that song and really remembered it and wanted to hear it again.....so, I went into the studio and produced it (my big problem is that I write a lot of songs, but my job keeps me from recording them....it might take me 10 years to catch-up at this stage).

Anyway, when I retire, I have plenty to do....which hopefully will be soon. No making bird-houses for me.... {:?D

Glad you love this song, too. It is one of my favorites because of its simple message of acceptance and un-conditional love. Now, it I could just get it to Michael Buble or Tony Bennett....I'd be over-joyed.

Anyway....the nice review coming from a great writer like you, is really appreciated.

Hope you are enjoying Spring in the Bronx.....!

My Best,

Chet Nichols
