Peace Be With You

John Lemke directs the Sacred Music Chorale premiered of Peace Be With You for SATB Choir and piano. Peace Be With You premiered as a solo work for voice and guitar by Gary A. Edwards in 1991 in response to his ministers request for a new song for the Easter Season. The lyrics are paraphrased from Luke 24:36-53 and tell the story of how Jesus appeared in front of the disciples after His death and resurrection and brought hope and how back to the Christian movement. The Northwest Sacred Music Chorale and many church choirs have performed the SATB Chorale version of Peace Be With You.
