Truescribe was born in Brooklyn,NY and grew up in Hillsborough,NJ. He moved to SC to attend the University of South Carolina at Spartanburg in 1993 and has been in SC ever since. True has been writing off and on since he was about 11 years old when he heard the Beastie Boys "Liscensed to Ill" tape along with Run-Dmc's "Raising Hell". He started learning to make beats in December of 2003 and that's when he got serious about recording. He produced and wrote his first album "Multiple Personality Disorder" in 2005. Right now True is most focused on improving his production craft although rapping is his first love. He'll begin working on his 3rd album "Intensive Care" in 2007.
