Well I was all over the map in trying to grade this one. There are some good things about this piece and some things that need to be addressed I think. Stylistically I love the kind of early New Age vibe, a blending of fussion jazz and modern sounds and arraingements without percussion. This also has a French New Age feel to it and I like that too. Think: Claude Chapleau or Jean Vanasse. This piece is quite original and yet it has a familar feel to it. If this were done better I think that there could be licensing oppurtunities in movies perhaps but more likely on cable networks, travelogues and the like. It has a nice mid-tempo background quality to it.
