Coming out of a jazz background, Tom has a BFA in jazz performance from The New School/Mannes and has been fortunate enough to study guitar and bass with greats such as Jim Hall, David Fiuczynski, Reggie Workman and Kermit Driscoll. His performance credits include: G. Calvin Weston, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, Steven Bernstein’s Sex Mob, Billy Martin and Chris Wood (MMW), John Sinclair, members of the Sun Ra Arkestra and members of Rita Marley’s former vocal group, the Soulettes. Currently, Tom juggles live performances including his "Mobile Pleasure Lounge" live film scoring spectacle, G. Calvin Weston’s Big Tree and others.
These tracks are the result of experimentation for film and video, out of his own Section 908 studios located in Philadelphia. While some of these tracks are "songs" most of them are pieces designed for visual application.
