Songwriter: Theater only for many years. The songs still here represent a passing interest in country, because he felt it offers some chance of writing lyrics that have meaning. He lived in New York for many years and now lives in northwest Connecticut. He studied composition and orchestration at The Juilliard School (straight A's in composition.) He also studied musicianship, voice, and piano with numerous private teachers in New York, including six years of musicianship and sigh-singing with Helen Hobbs Jordan, voice with David Sorin Collyer, and piano with Milton Kaye, John Corrigan, and Norman Gold. He has written nine shows that have been produced Off Broadway, eight musicals (book and lyrics only) and one play. He received a grant as an emerging playwright from The Jerome Foundation and Theater for the New City in New York City.
