To Be Announced is an independent band based in Albuquerque, NM. The band was started in July 2004 by original members Josh Young, Kevin Wright, and Richard Archuletta as a pastime and hobby for the summer before they started high school. However, in writing, playing, and practicing their original tunes, they discovered a passion they had never found in anything else. The band began to become increasingly popular as one of the local favorites and began to make short trips out of town to play in the surrounding cities. The joyful acceptance of their original style and feel by their audience pressed the band into an even more commited state of mind and work ethic and drove them to record their EP, greatest hits...so far, and promote it to the best of their ability. Even when faced with this business like, more serious side of the industry, To Be Announced continued to play with the same great amount of passion and enjoyment that they felt from day one. Since then the band has gone through some reluctant member changes but is once again a band of best friends.
