Tim Henry is a prolific songwriter, but also no slouch on the guitar... he started out as a lead guitarist, playing hundreds of gigs in various bands developing a strong reputation & became very well sought after. However his main passion has always been songwriting…

Tim picked up the guitar at 14 & during his teenage years spent many hours teaching himself Blues, Rock, Classical & Heavy Metal styles. He played in the award-winning high school stage band & a heavy metal band for which he wrote the guitar riffs for their original songs.

After school he continued as a lead guitarist in original & covers bands experiencing varying levels of success. Tim keenly presented his songs to fellow band members, but continued to find himself in frustrating situations regarding the co-writing & performing of original music.

A solo career was beckoning, so Tim developed his singing ability & started playing sets of original tunes regularly to a very positive response. This prompted him to record his first solo Ep in 2000 which was well received locally

Tim then decided to take the “go it alone” attitude one step further & went into education mode.

He studied hard & armed himself with the sound engineering technical skills of recording, mixing & mastering over the internet, as well as valuable music business skills from COTAH. Not happy with the standard of his singing voice, Tim decided to hunt down a top quality singing teacher (Peter Vox) to help Tim smooth out the rough edges of his voice to produce a stronger vocal range. During this time he gradually acquired recording equipment & built a studio at home. (Not much more a muso needs!) This gave Tim the tools required & the confidence to take the next step

Tim has now completed his first studio album & is promoting it over the internet as well as on the live circuit. Tim currently performs locally as a solo act, but in the future will be sourcing musicians to create a backing band to do some more extensive touring.
