John Tumminello is a Nashville-based songwriter and founder of the independent label, three minute records - home to artist such as Joey Figgiani, Santa & The Toymakers and John himself.

John spent his Undergraduate years at New York University earning an Associate degree in Humanities & The Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. He then spent 15 years at JPMorgan Chase honing his marketing and management skills. In 1997, he was sponsored by JPMorgan Chase for the Executive MBA Program at the Columbia Business School where he graduated with Honors.

For the past fifteen years John has also written songs "on the side" - his creative outlet to exercise that side of the brain. In 2003, John began to merge his business and music backgrounds, managing hard rock band American Popular. American Popular's debut album "SOLD OUT (The American Way)" was released in August 2004. John also recorded his own material during this time and released his album "eventually" in 2004.

Last year, John left his 'day job' and moved to Nashville to focus his efforts on the ever-growing three minute mpire. Recently, John paired up with cousin/musician Joey Figgiani, who John also manages through three minute's sister-company, Mpire Music Management. An extremely talented singer-songwriter and interpreter of others' music, Joey has been performing since Age 6. John co-produced Joey's album "Under The Memphis Sun" which was released on three music records in August 16, 2005, to coincide with the label's one-year anniversary. Joey's original album, "The Place Between Moving and Standing Still," is slated for an early 2006 release.
