Short Bio
The Velvet Social is an Electronica/Pop songwriting duo comprised of Cassandra Frake and Dan Castellani. After several years of searching for a singer/co-writer Dan met Cassandra through a fellow musician and formed the group in late 2009. As a singer-songwriter Cassandra's interest in Dan's programming and musical background as a studied classical/jazz pianist, allowed her to expand her songwriting palette and utilize her strong and soulful voice. Currently The Velvet Social is writing and recording their debut release in Dan Castellani's home studio.
