The Q-Band is a unique combination of multi-cultural sounds and pleasure for listeners of all styles of music. The Q-Band is Agustin "Mario" Quiroga, lead guitar and vocals; Manny Mendoza, bass and background vocals; Kevin Thomas, drums; Alberto Gudino, guitar, sax and background vocals; and Erica "Ricky" Bristol, background vocals. Members of The Q-Band have worked with well-known artists such as Tito Puente Sr., Poncho Sanchez, Tribe of Gypsies, Flaco Jimenez, La Sonora Dinamita, Ricardo Lemvo and Otmaro Ruiz. The Q-Band's greatest strengths are pure creativity in songwriting and musicianship: real-life stories about love, life and the human experience, with melodic vocals and complex, layered instrumental arrangements.
