The Live Questions

From a small home studio in Los Angeles, producers and songwriters Paul Terry, Pablo Milberg, and Ben S. craft original pop roots music and mix it up with their programming inside Ableton Live to create infectious dance beats. A jazz approach is employed with songs that begin as catchy pop and rock melodies but journey between afrobeat, dub, electro, and progressive rhythms. Live shows incorporate live manipulation of drum sounds, loops, and samples alongside all the instruments heard on record performed live. The fundamental blocks include a Telecaster guitar, a Korg keyboard, accordian, harmonica, and live drums. Lyrically and sonically, the songs focus on themes of reconciling forces of duality such as sin and virtue and wealth and poverty by employing our free will in unusual ways for redemption.
