You know that feeling you get when you look to west, and your spirit cries out for reason? The's the feeling of The Glory Bees! Ha ha.

Songs pouring out of the Glory Bees cellar are resistant to pigeon-holes and float on sparkling reds. 'Ode to Mr Reith', a scathing attack on people with no conscience, their 1st release, was a finalist in the Australian Songwriters song comp.

Crafting songs that pay homage to legends like Dylan, Van Morrison, Neil Young, John Lennon, The Clash, CCR and Marley, as well as legends-to-be like John Mayer, Keith Urban and the Arctic Monkeys, they introduce a few exotic spices of their own. A good song is a good song is a good song.

Creating music for fans, soundtracks, Triple-J rejects, Nashville hombres, Pink wanna-bes, Pink Floyd nostalgics, The Glory Bees are inventive, infectious and pure of heart, with an Irish, Portuguese, and Indian soft-center.

Bob Dylan grumbled:'The Bees were so much older then - but they're younger than that now.'

Hey thanks Jim, kind of you. Ha ha, yep, very angry! You've got some nice folk songs too - Spring 66 is great. And heaps of cool instrumental grooves. Maybe we can collaborate on something one day. Cheers.

No worries, and thanks for taking the trouble to have a listen to my stuff. If you need a hand with recording or finding a place to record or musicians let me know as I have some good local contacts. Always like to see people from the coast doing well.
