The Cacti Hi-Fi is a four piece band forged in mid January of 2006 against the backdrop of the Middleton/Cross Plains area of Wisconsin. Friends Ross Busch and Charlie Abbott originally founded the band, soon recruiting Zach "Zaq" Lewis on bass and eventually Zac Spangler on second guitar and vox.

With a sound that has been compared to that of the Burden Brothers, Toadies, Foo Fighters and the Drive-By Truckers, the Cacti write riff heavy power-rock encompassing vocal and guitar harmonies over the monsterous drumming of Ross Busch.

The live show is where this band has its most fun. While playing shows constantly and sharing the stage with national acts such as "The Burden Brothers" "Freshwater Collins" and "Aberdeen City" as well as hometown heros, "Awesome Car Funmaker" "Apparently Nothing" and "the Box Social" the Cacti have learned how to play a rock show.
