The Badfooters began jamming in November 2010. While most bands start out having already known each other, The Badfooters first practice began with introductions and hand shakes. Adam Gerhard's(bass)first order of business was to get a drummer. Dustin Daniels of the band, WulfBane was an obvious choice. He and Gerhard had a mutual friend and all it took was a, "let's do this" from Daniels and he was in. Gerhard then put an add on Craig's List for a singer and Jacob Hitchcock happened to see it. "I saw 2 videos of Jake and was blown away. "I remember thinking to myself, why the hell isn't this guy in a band"? A friend of Gerhard's mentioned he just met a guy who plays guitar and wants to jam. Gerhard and Jeremiah Rich met for a beer the next day and it was on! "We knew we had something after our first show when a crowd of 300 wanted an encore"! They were the opening act that night.
