Story Behind The Song

The song was performed for the Theosophical Society of Melbourne; naturally many of the audience members were intrigued with the work and felt that they could hear the wind speaking with the trees.

Song Description

When the composer and performer lived in the Dandenong Ranges the trees on the property would make whispering sounds in the wind. They were old and wise trees and this song was about those sounds.
