Loon

Story Behind The Song

I was camping in the Caribou region of British Columbia and every night the loons would sing their haunting cry. I found this myth and set it as a prelude to a song that combines the story with a song called "Lovely Loon".

Song Description

An old blind man comes across a loon and the loon decides she can help him if he rides on her back. They dive into the lake, he can suddenly see and takes his necklace off and throws it around her neck and it turns into spots.
