Story Behind The Song
In 2012 I won the Irish musical comedy awards. I was being serious - i was wondering why they were laughing! Anyway I woke up the next day and found myself touring on the comedy circuit - A harpist on the comedy circuit with funny songs. It was baptism by fire and I found the world of comedy just as dark and difficult as you could imagine it to be. After 4 years i wrote this song COMEDIAN. It is a serious song about being a comedian and how the adrenaline fuelled performing life is damaging on the inside.

This is a serious song about being a comedian Dangerous on the inside. On the outside you are smiling - touring - making people laugh for a living. The comedian! On the inside you find the adrenal energy and late nites are taking their toll ! It poses the question. Who am i Hurting? Its about life on the edge - emotionally financially and spiritually.
