Story Behind The Song

Much of my lyrics come from what I hear and see in the media- I could probably write a song after reading the morning paper! These subjects are hardly new, but like the birthpangs that they are,the convulsions which the world is going through are gathering in inte3nsity and speed. The train the world is on isn't stopping or slowing down, it is gathering speed!!! (that is what happens when you go downhill!)

Song Description

This song captures the essence of our era, both the highs and lows of the past decade, and the orientation of the world in this era-one of ever increasing social, economic, and religious turmoil. The irony of this is that for Christians the world over, these are hopeful signs-signs that our messiah is coming back.The unfortunate thing is that the night is always darkest before dawn.In 1990 the Soviet Union fell-in 1997, a teenager slaughtered another teen over an expensive pair of basketball court shoes(which were probably made in Indonesia for 5 pennies on the dollar of what it sold here for).and on 9/11/2003, two planes crashed into the World Trade Center in New York, in the bloodiest attack on U.S. soil by a terrorist organisation. In the meantime, world trade has exponentially increased, as moral standards around the world have decreased.
