Story Behind The Song

I had a life changing surgery in the summer of 2008. And one night after the surgery, I was in bed, reflecting, and the first verse of this song came to my head as I started to pray. And it grew from there. It is very near and dear to me, and I hope it touches people. The surgery I have that is in the lyrics, was to save my life after a miscarriage went horribly wrong.
