Story Behind The Song

Nora Fine lost her parents over the years. She was Especially close to her dad. And he died on Christmas. They never got to see her make it big. So I wrote her this song to play hoping she would fall in love with me. And when she didn't, I recorded my own version. I hired the best piano player I knew to play the keyboard parts. you should see the video idea ! Maybe there's hope for Nora and me yet.

Song Description

Twenty years playing and momma died and then daddy died at Christmas. They would have loved to hear her play. She struggles with it as she looks at her piano, and she wonders if they can hear her in heaven. She was Daddy's little dream, the Rock 'n Roll Queen, will she ever see him again ? So she remembers how he used to say "I love to hear you play' PLAY.
