The Highway

Story Behind The Song

The song was written about an inspiring moment and feeling while driving West on I-90 at 2am on a hot summer morning.

Lyrics

"The Highway"
Copyright Tracy Marie

The half-moon looks red tonight
I see it in the western sky
I see it from the highway
The one on which I drive
It must be a sign
Will it be alright?
It must be alright tonight

I wonder when I leave this place
go back to one from which I came
I feel so insignificant
I wonder will it be the same
Give me a sign
Wll it be alright?
It must be alright tonight.
