Story Behind The Song
The word-play of fitting a woman to one's love as opposed to the other way around was bouncing around my head. Nonsense lyrics followed while dabbling with overly simple riff in "drop D." In the studio, the song took new life with the B3 and Steve Ide's lead.
Song Description
Dark but hopeful, plodding ballad about the search for love. Mood is smokey, calm but intense. Heavy, slow groove, builds to sweet guitar solos.

Lyrics
Well, I can do without the pillow for my head
Don’t need no pencil for my lead
I don’t care to know what is below, so long as there’s above, but I
Must have a woman for my love
Can’t find the shoes to fit my laces
Can’t fit the bodies to the faces
I’ve found that olive branch, now I’m looking for a dove
I need a woman for my love
She must be hidin’, she must be hidin’ good
So many ways and places, so few understood
I have been lookin’, but I guess I ain’t been lookin’ good enough
To find a woman for my love
INSTRUMENTAL
I’ve been through the haystack, no needle found
Sailed those seven seas until I finally ran aground
I’ve got one last thing I’m gonna try, givin’ this lamp a rub
Must be a woman for my love
There must be a woman for my love
Find me a woman for my love
She’s out there somewhere
