Story Behind The Song
Written late one night after smoking some "funny" cigarettes with a friend, the laid back vibe occurred mostly because my roommate was asleep and I couldn't sing above a whisper into the 4 track. Since most people were awake in the studio, I opened it up a bit. This was a "gift to myself" song. Every songwriter wants to at least write every part and, at most, play every part. Since I was running around too fast for anyone but the engineer to figure out what I was doing, I was able to please myself in a fashion not frowned upon by the church.

Lyrics
One life. One hope. One dream and your dope.
Your days are not like mine. That's why you're losing you're mind.
When I go to sleep the turning world gives me the spins.
I awake at dawn to find it all gone.
And it's just a day to write down in my book.
As I pass the mirror I give myself a stupip look.
One life. One dream. My hope and your sceam.
