Marie of The Morning

Story Behind The Song

This is the only time I've ever recorded this song. The beginning is a piano part conceived to be play and heard backwards. The beginning & ending are mainly improvisations done in the studio. My vocals are immature, but the story told. I would love to rerecord this now. Tim 3/2007

Song Description

This song was written about a woman/girl who was not in touch with reality when I came to love. She loves, loses love and cannot go on without her one and only love, or so she thinks. She only feels comfortable in the morning and is unpredictable in many ways, especially regarding her conception of love. Her love leaves her and she can't go on.........she dies in the afternoon.
