Story Behind The Song

The song's lyrics were originally written by the band's lead guitarist Richard Scarano, after going through a very intense and emotionally destructive breakup. Three Card Monte's bassist Ryan Wonderland put down the bass and picked up the guitar for the creation of the song. "Dave (lead vocalist) wasn't able to be there for one of our practices so I brought the lyrics to Obvious with me and that night the song was born", says Richard Scarano (lead guitar). Though the song's lyrics were later rewritten by the band's frontman, the song kept true to it's original idea.

Song Description

Obvious is one of our more simplistic fast paced hard rockers. It's a song about difference of opinion. It's kind of an "I'm right but she thinks I'm wrong" sort of song.
