Story Behind The Song

I wanted to create a modern blues instrumental incorporating spoken word often used in electronica (ie Lemon Jelly, Tosca) and classic blues elements. Cutting bits out of an old American documentary about Flatboatmen on the Mississippi created a new dimension for me, as I treated the voice over as a new instrument. The voice over is public domain.
