Christmas time means many things,
The joys and toys that Santa brings,
The wondrous glow that flows through every heart.
But those ideals are fantasy,
They're not based on reality.
So, now I'd like to tell you from the start,
What Christmas means to me.
"C" Stands for commercialism rampant everywhere;
the ads start on the 5th day of July.
"H" means all the homeless people sleeping on the streets;
that shoppers stacked with gifts pass right on by.
"R" is for the presents that I get and must return.
Who needs a blinking polka dotted tie?
"I" stands for the icicles our cat ate off the tree.
We finally found out that's what made her die.
"S" is for the Santa Claus that threw up on my kid.
He up chucked right into her lap, the elves all ran and hid.
"T" means all the TV shows that endlessly repeat.
I say let Jimmy Stewart end it all.
"M's" for all the money that I spend but do not have,
come January creditors will call.
"A" means all the arguments and fights the family has,
Christmas dinner always turns into a brawl.
And "S" is all the stress that makes sane people want to scream.
The whole thing needs a major overhaul.
And that's what Christmas means to me.
