Story Behind The Song

I originally recorded a song called "Alone" back in '99, but the song didn't quite feel like I wanted it to feel. So, it's 2002, and I tried again. This time, I have much more synthesis expertise and I made the song much more minimalistic, which more aptly captures the mood.

Song Description

Eno-esque ambiance. Cold driving down the highway, no real beat kinda song. Just atmosphere. The feeling of no one rooting for you or really being on your side captured in a song. There is a low droning that goes with the whole song, and a mysterious bell sound. The song sounds very wet and windy. they didn't have Brian Eno in the list for similar artists, so I'll say that this song is highly inspired by Eno's ambient works.
