Brightest Light

"Love and fear and hope collide" was the key line in the song. We were improvising in the studio and that was the line and moment of the song that we kept coming back to. We wrote around that and the piece became "Brightest Light."

Lyrics

Your eyes tell a thousand stories
And time doesn't stop for anything or any man

Hey, baby
That's alright
When I hold you
By my side
Love and fear and hope collide
You're my angel
My brightest light

This life
Tricks you into thinking
That tonight
Will stretch into infinity
And you'll stay with me

Hey, baby
That's alright
Every moment
Of your life
Love and fear and hope collide
You're my angel
My brightest light

Hey, baby
That's alright
When I hold you
By my side
Love and fear and hope collide
You're my angel
My brightest light

You're my angel
My brightest light
