Story Behind The Song
Andy came in the musical idea which was fairly structured. After numerous jams on it, it morphed into what it is now.
The Na Na bits, we tried different lengths of it. It was recorded longer but we sliced it a bit to it's current form.
Mike's singing was the most intense it's been, you can hear clear emotion in it.
It has contrasts within the song such as intense singing and lyrics to a backdrop of bouncing odd time signature music with this Na Na Na Na going on, which in the end suits the fragile nature of the song.

It's intense emotion. The intensity of this emotion elevates as the song progresses to an explosion. However there is bouncy music background whilst intense, it's hooky with it's time and Na Na Na Na gang lyrics which poppin it up.
