Shortly after I was dumped by my girlfriend of six years, there was a girl in one of my college classes with amazing, almost neon green eyes. Since my ex had been in a haze of booze and drugs for the past couple of years, it was nice to see a girl whose eyes were "jade" and not "jaded." I worked with her on some assignments, but didn't know her name until much later. She seemed flawless in my mind, and i didn't want to spoil that eutophoric vision by dating her and finding out otherwise. So I didn't, and I'll probably never see her again.
