Story Behind The Song

I think this song- more than any other, defines me and the entire album for that matter. It is the best songwriting experience I've ever had. I remember the music playing in my mind as if a violent symphony and it was very personal. Sometimes you have moments in your life where inspiration and emotion are so bonded that you feel like you are plugged into a wall. It was electrifying. That pen was spittin sparks the whole way through. I was alone and reflecting on my life on a dark, rainy night during the fall of 2005 in NYC.
