Story Behind The Song
The song came about after a troublesome relationship, the lyrics were written before the song but only in a space of about 2 weeks apart. I was experimenting with different tunings at the time and thats why the song eventually was arranged in 'drop D' tuning.
Song Description
A song about a love that turned to hate and how it changed someone to anger and frustration. The chorus however speaks for itself by suggesting to just 'walk away' from all the pain and anxiety to start a new life. Easier said than done.

Lyrics
Walking Away
Looks like you?re on your own again
Feeling this way I just can?t pretend
You can?t fight on your own
But I can?t find my way back Home
I?m walking away from all that?s wrong
Will I fly... Or will I fall, to the ground
I?ve got to think right to carry on
I?m walking away, walking away
I?m walking away from this pain that you put me though
I?m walking away from the broken heart I left for you
I?m so glad it?s over now that I am back on my feet again
I?m walking away I?ve got nothing to say, to you
Why did you have to change me?
I was doing fine on my own
I saw you just the other day
I bet you thought I?d miss you... didn?t you!
I?m walking away from this pain that you put me though
I?m walking away from the broken heart I left for you
I?m so glad it?s over now that I?m back on my feet again
I?m walking away I?ve nothing to say, to you
