Real life situation... my friend across the street asked me to write a song about her and she insisted that her name was in the song. The idea of "the girl next door" was something I hadn't yet tackled... so the song had that inspiration.
Song Description
The song describes a single guy who is interested in the girl across the street. He is generally home alone at night and thinks that she might be in a similar situation. However, his curiosity is hindered by his fear.
