Story Behind The Song
I was having a kind of bad day with my kid being a kid, getting into stuff and making a mess, when I started thinking that these things aren't necessarily bad because they wouldn't be normal children without these type of things. We have some friends who's little girl was born just prior to our youngest boy. She was born with Down Syndrome. They would do just about anything to have they're little girl be a normal child with normal child behavior. Hence the song, "So Lovely".

Lyrics
Little Boy
With your icecream cone
Melting down all over the seat
Sticky face, Sticky hands, Sticky feet
You're so lovely
Little girl
With mud in your hair
You've been hanging around with the boys
You never liked those little girl toys
You're so lovely
Who says imperfect things can't be lovely
I wouldn't change a single thing so lovely
Little Jack
In brown soggy shoes
footprint art left in every room
It has a name called impending doom
You're so lovely
Little Jill
With that flower bouquet
Skipping free smell that sweet perfume
The neighbors don't seem to share your view
Your So lovely
Who says imperfect things can't be lovely
I wouldn't change a single thing so lovely
