Uniformed Mascara

Story Behind The Song

At this point I recently separated from a long relationship. With the feelings of loneliness and becoming lost, I felt better in a rebound attempt for merely a second. Knowing it wouldn't go any farther, but wanted it to even it wasn't in my best interest.

Song Description

Becoming Romantic with a person who you have admired closely for a long time and after a long conversation parked in front your house you end up kissing knowing when they drive away it will be the last time you see them. In the end all your hopes, and fantasy's seem to leave with the car, leaving a piece of death with you. Hence the chorus "Is the exhaust I breathe enough to kill me....with a kiss that made me believe you can save me"

Lyrics

Uniformed Mascara

A breath raises in cold passion
leaving me buckled at the knees
feel the corner of your lips
bite down and feel my finger tips
mumbled loud enough not to leave

Is the exhaust I breathe, enough to kill me
A kiss that made me believe you could save me

My eyes begin to dilate,
the softest glow your face illuminates
a waking hands runs down my neck
followed by a heavy breath
Its time we confessed

Is the exhaust I breathe, enough to kill me
a kiss that made me believe you can save me

Wait for a pause , and thinning blood
My choking words stumble over yours
Feel your hands warm my ears I returned a goodnight tuck in
Without a goodnight kiss

Is the exhaust you breathe enough to kill you
a kiss that made you believe I could save you
