Story Behind The Song

I just broke up with my boyfriend who was an important part of my life. I seldom paid attention to lyrics but this one to me means a lot because it's exactly what I feel and what he meant to me, We've been trying to work on our long-distance relationship with me being in Brighton, UK and him being in Trondheim, Norway (note the lyrics "hope it would soar from the SEA I'm in to the SNOWLAND you're on" which represent Brighton and Trondheim). We were so much in love back then but things have changed and we finally broke up just about a month ago. The melodies really came straight from my heart. I've written songs before, but I would say that this is officialy my first song.
