Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song in January of 2003 then called my long time friend, Steve "TANK" Kelley to ask him if he wanted to record it in his home studio. We hadn't worked together in this capacity for a good 15 years or so, but of course he said yes. Over the course of the next 3 months we proceeded to to record about 2 or 3 songs a week until we finished the project that is now the "Millennium Of Peace" CD. We mastered the record at Capitol records in Hollywood on the Tuesday before Easter. On Easter Sunday, Steve "TANK" Kelley passed away unexpectedly. This is our greatest & final work on this physical plane. It is a tribute to his life here & our friendship.
