I heard the phrase from my former youth pastor, back in the late 90s. I knew I had to write a song featuring that phrase and what it really meant to Christians, as well as everyone else who might wonder what's ahead of them.

Sadly staring at the stone
Imagining some far off year
When my time on earth is gone

As I turned to walk away
